Midweek magic with “Jazz Sketches”

Soho’s hottest new jazz club, Alfie’s Jazz Club, presents its brand new early show, Jazz Sketches. The event runs every Thursday from 5:30-8pm, perfect for the after-work crowd looking to sit back, enjoy some cocktails, and experience an intimate and spontaneous duo performance.

The idea behind Jazz Sketches is to provide a platform for London’s finest emerging jazz musicians to showcase their artistry and improvisational abilities in front of a live audience. The result is an exciting and spontaneous musical journey featuring classic jazz, swing, bebop, and hard bop, as well as improvised material.

Audiences can enjoy the intricacies and interactions of a duo performance and get the opportunity to listen to the beautiful tones of the in-house Yamaha C3 Grand Piano alongside featured horn players and vocalists.
